I have a 1990 sport that starts, idles and tops out fine but just to get moving and at a fast running pace the sport bogs and sounds like it is missing but when you give it more throttle it works fine, could this be an electrical issue with the coil breaking down under load any suggestions, thanks

I finally figured it out the person who owned it before me put 3mm shims in the secondary clutch making the sport not shift all the way down,so you where starting off in too high of a ratio making it bog.

The switch on the carb is an ignition kill switch if the carb freezes up.Both of the switches have to work in unison if they dont the ignition will be killed, most scoots are disconnected but the wires from the electrical side have to be connected into each other to comnplete the circuit so the scoot...

sno scoots are famous for having very poor carbs. even from the factory, make sure the carb is cleaned properly, all jets clean,1/8 inch freeplay in choke setting,7/8 turn out on pilot jet.Its just a matter of picking a happy medium no two scoots run the same.

does anyone know why this happens,i have 4 scoots and they all die if the pilot jet is screwed in all the way but this one scoot makes no difference,it also is hard to start when it sits for 5 minutes after running, you have to crank it over with full throttle to fire it seems like its flooding.I hav...
