Re: Starting scoot in different temps
I also have a primer on mine and it starts 2-3 kicks in any temp, as long as I shut the fuel off after each use. I choke it and give it 3 pumps on the primer.

Scoot key
Do they use a special key or can I find a Yamaha key that will work? I know Polaris only used 3 diff keys but not sure on Yamaha stuff.
Thanks

Scoot parts on e-bay
Just noticed a bunch of parts on e-bay, looks like someone parted out a sled.

Wanted a black scoot seat cover. I have a very nice complete red seat to trade or I will buy outright. My seat was new 4 years ago and used very little.

Well I took it for a rip outside today and it seems good, hopfully it will stretch a little and everything will loosen up.It still feels tight spinning it by hand, but I guess I'll just run it and keep an eye on everything for a while. Now I just need some more snow. Maybe I'll even let the kids hav...

Both sides were doing the same thing you just can't see it in the video. I made some progress tonight. I tentioned the track as per manual,(I had it to tight) and spun it by hand, it of course was tight every half revolution. I put the rest of the machine together and got it running, I spun the trac...

I think the machine is an 88 as the drivers that I took out didn't have the bands, just hose clamps, and it only had the 2 rear wheels. Right know I have the drivers out of my parts sled in it which are in nice shape. It does the exact same thing with both shafts, so I'm kinda eliminating the driver...

Ya I tried loosening one side and tightening the other and vice versa, didn't make a differance. Where I have it now it seems to be centered as the sliders are both centered in the track windows. I found it hard to get it to move from side to side as the inside of rear idler wheels are very close to...

The sound didn't work so I'll try and explain. For the first half of the video im spining it forward, and the inner lugs of the track climb up on the top of the drivers. Near the end I spun it backwards and you can see it ride up on the btm of the driver. Its kinda hard to see but try and watch the ...
