Blue Windshield

Is there any place where you can buy a blue windshield for a trail twister?
Mine is not that good but I don't want to put a smoked one on it.

Re: Trail Twister hood

Did not have a paint code so I took my spare hood in with a decal peeled off to reveal the original white. Ended up just getting a bright white acrylic enamel paint. I painted it myself because I have the equipment but a body shop will also do it for you. Turned out a pretty good match as the Mercs ...

Re: Help!! Need 76 340TT Clutch Center to Center Distance

The only way to adjust is to place horseshoe washers under the front engine mounting plate bolts if it is too far apart or under the rear mounts if it is too close together. Basically you are tilting the engine back or forward too make the adjustment. Take proper size washers and cut one side out to...

I can scan a wiring diagram but I would have to email it to you.
My manual says if trouble shooting premature headlight failure check for a short in the taillight harness? Yellow wire. Also mentions a varistor on the light switch if you have 2 headlights.

They are both VM 36
VM 36-25 on 440 TT and VM 36-24 on ST
There is a fixed high speed jet inside the bowl and the screw on the outside is for the adjustable high speed mixture needle.
Clockwise to run leaner (to burn it up) and counterclockwise for richer.

The merc manual only lists Perma gap spark plugs. You don't have to gap them because you can't. They don't have an electrode hanging down like a regular plug. I don't know if you can even buy them but here are the original part numbers 340 TT Champion QN-19V 440 TT Champion N-19V The only thing I ca...

Trail Twister hood

I have a 76 340 TT which I am restoring and am getting ready to paint the hood. Problem is I have 2 hoods and I think one is a 75. They are identical except one has an additional hole about 4" x 4" in the dash. Both have 2 holes where you can see the motor when sitting on the sled. The add...
