Re: NEED HELP ASAP! carb issue?

Have you changed out the inline tank filters? They tend to fall apart as they get older. Could be sending debris into fuel pump or carb especially if agitated by jumps.

Re: 89 Scoot fuel issue--wont rev up

Ok, I installed a carb kit and also adjusted the float angle so it sat more level. Started right up and runs great at high idle now!!! Just in time for snow storm tonight. Thanks for all the help.

Re: 89 Scoot fuel issue--wont rev up

OK, my carb does not have any rubber plugs. Could that be my issue? Not sure if the ethenol gas ate them up or not? I guess I could buy a rebuild kit and replace the jets and plugs?

89 Scoot fuel issue--wont rev up

Can't seem to get my engine rpm going. Starts on first kick without a problem, but give it gas and it just bogs down. I removed the carb and had it cleaned throughly in an ultrasonic cleaner for 2 hours! I cecked the choke plunger and made sure it was seating properly also. I then removed the fuel p...

Re: F/S Sno-sport 1991

Do you have the link for the aftermarket one and what are you asking for the OEM?

89 Scoot

Which one do you feel would endure trailering better? I assume the aftermarket is less expensive, but is it as sturdy as the OEM?

Re: Scoot Cover

Daveyboy,
Bullhead mentioned you may have a cover for a Scoot, or might know of an aftermarket that may work. Any info would be appreciated.

WTB a rubber bumper for the Scoot

Just purchased a 89 Scoot and it's missing the rubber cover from the right side of the bumper. Anyone know where I can get one?
