Thanks for the information. This was definetly a Merc motor because the recoil cover has a Merc sticker on it.

Your correct, I miss typed, it is a 440, Model # K4402AS, I was just curious as to what sled this was used in. This motor came in a 73 Arctic Cat El Tigre that I bought for some parts. The motor seems to be in good condition.

Hello All, I have a Mercury motor that I can not find the year and model of snowmobile that it was used in. I was hoping that someone would be able to help me out or point me in the right direction.
