Just wondering if anyone knows how to test a snoscoot fuel pump to ensure proper function?
Can it be cleaned?
Thanks

Re: Scoot won't start
Alright got it started after cleaning the carb again and was able to adjust it.
Now the problem I have is that I cannot start the scoot unless I take the plug out, spray a bit of gas in the cylinder and then start it. When I do this it starts first kick everytime... any suggestion on what to do next?

Snoscoot not starting - trying to get running for christmas
I just completed a track replacement so everything was apart. I got everything back together yesterday and started the scoot. I took it for a little run to check the track tension, got back and needed to tighten the track a bit. I lifted the back and forgot to turn off the fuel. From this point on I...

Re: Oil Pump Help
Alright, I found the screw and did not loose the gasket. I let it bleed for about 5 mins, there did not appear to be any air bubbles coming out. It was a nice slow flow the whole time.
Does this mean I can start the scoot and be good!

Oil Pump Help
I just completed a track change on my snoscoot. In the process I needed to disconnect the oil lines going into the oil pump. I have never done this before and I have read lots of discussions about oil pumps on other machines and having to bleed them once you disconnect the oil lines. Is this the cas...

Re: DIY Skid Plates?
I just used a 1/4" piece of plastic mounted at two points on the bumper and two rivets underneath the sled. Works wells to keep the front end out of the snow and from filling up with snow. http://www.gotsnow.ca/t4y/snoscoot.jpg I was hoping to make another piece that is a bit wider and covers o...

Re: C&A ski mounts
thanks!
Work is going to begin on the scoot this year. I have a new track to replace the crappy one that is on it right now. While changing the track I want to re-paint the frame black. I hope to start soon!

Re: C&A ski mounts
Hey BB500, sorry I didn't post this sooner. Got a little side tracked with our new baby.
I got the mounts on just before the snow left last year. They are awesome!
Much better then the stock skis and handle great! Thanks Again!
