You need a special puller that is attached to the threaded holes - not the studs.

Not sure about the height and width but the Merc 2 litre V6 outboards to '95 had the same bore - 3.125. If it works let me know!

I dont think a vibration damper puller will work - the Merc flywheel was designed for a different type of puller. I have a custom made puller that bolts to all four holes.

Hi Frank, Either the clutch is stuck or you're using too fat a belt. The correct belt should be a Dayco Max 1093. If the clutch is stuck you can free it in a vise by removing the face - but look out! Has anyone tried to swap the Tillotson carb(s) on a Mark 1 or Mark II for Mikuni's - if so can you share your experience? I was considering swapping the twin tillotson HD's on my Mark II and the Tillotson OM on the Mark 1 for proper mikuni's.
