I need the same info for the low speed air screws for my 76 440 trail twister so hopefully we get an answer!

tough call. they could be fine and cause no issues, or they could let go and you lose the motor. what you could do is start it, get it warm, and spray some carb cleaner in the seals. if the idle races then the seal is bad and sucking the carb cleaner in and burning it. if nothing happens, they MIGHT...

is there any problems that might occur running NGK plugs? either one run better or worse? need to get some plugs for mine so I can recheck my jetting with CLEAN plugs. just need to know what ones to pick up at the hardware store

can you go 60:1, or is it a terrible idea? and what plugs do people use? stick with champions or can you use whatever NGK matches?

sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what to do! might be worth replacing the gaskets in the fuel pump and carbs as well, just as a preventitive measure. but, get it running and see if anything leaks. check the carb boots and see if they have any cracks too. good luck and let us know how it ...

is this an actual gasket that seals the case together (top and bottom halfs) or form-a-gasket? thanks!
