tough call. they could be fine and cause no issues, or they could let go and you lose the motor. what you could do is start it, get it warm, and spray some carb cleaner in the seals. if the idle races then the seal is bad and sucking the carb cleaner in and burning it. if nothing happens, they MIGHT...

wondering what people use to replace the tracks on trail twisters. what the most lug you can get, and what do people do for studs, if anything. dont PLAN or racing it, but I might. just looking for thoughts and opinions! thanks, Eric

is there any problems that might occur running NGK plugs? either one run better or worse? need to get some plugs for mine so I can recheck my jetting with CLEAN plugs. just need to know what ones to pick up at the hardware store :)

on my 76 trail twister 440. high test gas with Klotz. manual says 50:1, should I go even less with oil that has the benefit of being 30 years newer and better?? what do you guys run?

sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what to do! might be worth replacing the gaskets in the fuel pump and carbs as well, just as a preventitive measure. but, get it running and see if anything leaks. check the carb boots and see if they have any cracks too. good luck and let us know how it ...
