i got a message from bill, i believe he is from this site and he says the oem pistons etc. are readily avaliable so are the aftermarket.

i have a twister that needed an engine, a real nice sled but with a badly siezed 340 fan. well i got given after a bad weekend (for this guy) 2 sleds, a 440 tx and a 77 ski roule 440. the donated engine got a good cleaning and my carbs and shrouids etc. and in it went. runs great... with the cowl up...

i just got a ski roule with a 440 2as kohler other than carbs i assume it is the same engine as a twister. am i correct?

are kohler gaskets, seals, and pistons avaliable. i just got a nice 340 twister with a badly siezed engine but have located a good block crank etc.

try adjusting the mixture on the oppisite side of the carbs a small brass screw also make sure the enricherers are closed.
