It may be idling up because, it was to rich with enrich cable pulled up. When plunger goes down sled goes back to idle, now getting more air and leaning out fuel mixture increasing rpm. Check the pilot screw, it should be out about 7/8 of a turn after lightly seated (tightend). You may still need to...

Smokie, if the enricher (choke) plunger will close off hole, you can see into carb hole with flashlight with carb off and on bench and tell, you can still use carb. When I pull carb off, I pull it off with cable still attached to carb, just take off plastic nut by cowl. Then I lightly clamp in soft ...

It is a safety switch. Carb switch and throttle switch are called a throttle override system. It operates off of throttle switch and carb switch. At all times when throttle is closed the carb switch is open, Scoot runs. Throttle open, carb switch is closed, Scoot run. If both go open then Scoot elec...

At 22 lbs. pull force you should have about and inch or so gap when you pull track away from slides. I'd say yours is not to tight if track spins and does not jump(ride) over plastic drives. It looks likes your is at least a 89, from the band on the plastic drive in video. I know some tracks will be...

If you are going through the work of replacing track, then replace all bearings too. I would not recomend just pushing new grease in. Most of the times the bearings are pitted, rusted and hitchy. Cheap to replace compared to time taking apart cleaning up, and repacking. There the idler wheel bearing...

Does it make a metalic noise when slipping? It is possible the front axle splines (o.d.) are worn and also the tranny gear (i.d.) splines, they get very rusted and the splines will rust/wear away. The tranny gear may be worn, but the drive axle usually worse. If this is your problem, you may be able...

Scoot Governor
The Scoot does not have governor. What do you mean it governs out at half throttle? How fast does scoot go now? 30-35mph, is about top speed. To get it to go faster, reeds will help a little (from my experience) only 1-3 mph. If the primary clutch (engine) has not been cleaned in awhile, cleaning wi...
