The original specs for oil were as follows for the Twister models (other Merc models may vary..... 16:1 Liquid cooled sleds 25:1 Free Air Sleds 40:1 Fan Cooled Sleds This was with 1975-76 oil blends. Spark plugs Champ N19V

Oil 25-1 first tank of the year then 40-1. Use a good grade snowmobile oil...not synthetic.

Track tension hanging 1" in the center.

436cc, Merc did not rate horsepower....estimated at between 60 & 80

Looks like a 440 CCW motor. Either a 21 or a 22. Put out around 38hp.

Was used in the 440 SR and 440 Max/MX

The Correct Mercury belt for the 76 TT is 57-74293 or 57-74294. The difference in numbers is the belt Manufacturer Gates and ?(don't remember right now.)
