Best way to clean them is to remove all rubber parts and to soak it overnight in Lacquer Thinner then blow it out with compressed air.

There is a gasket set for the carb bowl. Needle and Seat is also readily available.

You can post pics.

It has to be hosted and you just put the 'img' tags on either side of the picture url.

I should clarify the belt application.

The Dayco 2000 was listed by the aftermarket as the correct alternative for the Stock Mercury TT and ST in 1976. That would be with the original clutches of Arctic Primary and Secondary.

Use of other drive or driven clutches may change the crossover number.

That is the closest but there is no aftermarket belt that exactly matches the Merc original.

I would say your problem is fuel delivery based. Before spending any real time and money on anything else and still having the same problem I would thoroughly clean the fuel system. When I have running issues this is always the area I tackle first. Usually takes an hour but with all the useless etha...

Thanks for the video...what a great diagnostic tool. In all the snowmobiles I have worked on I have never seen the track riding the drive sprockets in such a short distance of travel. I see it losing sequence in less than a revolution. If you go to a different point in the track does it seem to not ...

It is actually closer to the WWII Mercury Military chainsaw than the Outboard, although the Herc does use many outboard parts.

Dave,

Haven't seen any ads for Sport Parts.

I have been trying to find an e-start kit for my 1 sled that is manual. No luck out of the 5 junkers I bought.

I guess it is time to ad another category to the Scoot section. Parts Forsale and Wanted.

Post a wanted ad there.
