Re: Snoscoot not starting - trying to get running for christ
It is probably a carb issue. I would pull carb off and remove and clean all jets and passages in carb. Might also be time to replace the spark plug. I'll suggest putting a small inline filter in before carb, for extra filtration. If you have any carb issues just post them.

Re: 89 Scoot fuel issue--wont rev up
Did you remove the main nozzle, down inside center of carb? Also did you remove the pilot jet under the rubber plug? All the holes in these jets need to be clean, spray carb clean and blow them off with air, make sure you can see day light through all jet holes. Also spray carb clean in carb passage...

Re: Oil Pump Help
There is a philips head screw on the oil pump. Remove this screw, watch out, there is a gasket under this screw also. Oil should run out, when air bubbles stop coming out it should be bleed properly.

Dexter, to my knowledge there are no other sled slides that will fit Scoot. The Phazer slides are about .100" wider, the profile is the same but they are a loose fit. Tried that. Other option if Scoot frame rails are junk is to get used set of Phazer rails and cut down. Yes, you will need to do...

Re: 1990 Sno Sport carb calibration
This is carb info for Sno-Scoot. Also to think about is temperature. 6-8000 ft at -4F to -22 F 103.8MJ 14F to 32F 101.3MJ To my knowledge you can use same pilot jet all elevation all temps. Scoot std. main jet is #103.8 and pilot jet is a #65. Sport std. main jet is a #100 and pilot jet is a #55.

Re: Dumb Question - Where is crankcase oil drain on Scoot???
No drain for crankcase oil, it is a 2-stroker not a 4-stroker. Do you mean tranny case oil replacement? If yes, there is a drain plug (bolt) in bottom of case left side, I think it is 8mm or 10mm headed bolt. The fill plug is on left side in back on belt cover by frame, I believe it is 17mm head bol...

Re: track won't turn
If the in tank filter was coming apart, you might also want to clean the fuel pump. The paper will get in there and can cause fuel starving issues. Yammy does not make gaskets or a rebuild kit, but usually you can take apart and put back together without any problems.

Re: Removing Choke Cable (labelled Starter) from Carb
If you have to buy a new enricher cable and other parts, you may be better off just putting a primer on. Scoot will start 10 times easy that with enrich cable and with kids you don't have to worry about them not flipping it off. If interested in were I located my Scoot primer and carb fitting e me a...
