trying to pull flywheel on 644 ,have used heat and regular puller ,I am wondering if the flywheel sheared the woodruff key and spun a fraction on the crank,it won't budge . want to save the crank and the flywheel ,any ideas

Are you using the Mercury 4 bolt puller?

I have never been able to get a flywheel off with anything else.
