i have just bought a mercury 250 E for $30. its runs great but wont pull forward, can ne1 out there tell me some things i should try and do to make it pull ahead? does any 1 no how fast i should expect it 2 go if i even get it 2 drive Thanks...ne help would be greatly appreciated also do u know how much a sled of this kind is worth??<font color="green"></font id="green">:)

Price wise I'd say you paid about right for it, unless it was a renovated sled, but it doesn't sound like it. I just gave $50.00 for one.

1st, it would be easier to read your post if you wouldn't use IM/IRC slang.

Have you raised the rear of the sled up with the stand, does the track turn at all ?

You might need to rebuild the clutch. Does it make any noise when you try to give throttle, if so what kind of noise. Might also check/replace the belt if the track turns when it's raised but not when it's under pressure i.e. sitting on the ground.
