Can anybody tell me if a track from a Lightning or Hurricane can be used on the earlier 220/250 models. I have a 220 and a 250 that I want to restore but both need tracks. What modifications would need to be done to make this work? It seems tracks from '71/'72 are easier to find than the '69 to '71 tracks. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, this will give me a place to start. If I can't find a decent original track then at least I have an option.

Hurricane Mk 1 or 2 tracks will not work as they are internal drive on the swing frame rear end.

Hurricane (commonly referred to at the time as the 350) has external drive or "holes" in the track into which one puts a drive cog.
