Plastic Ski's Installed??? Has anyone
Plastic Ski's Installed??? Has anyone
Has anyone successfully installed a set of plastic ski on their Scoot? If so, what ski, and what mods needs to be done. I would like to try them and figured someone would be able to help point me in the right direction. Thanks.
I too was looking for a set of plastic skis but ended up locating some Yamaha 4.5" wide plastic ski skins. Although I did have to trim some excess length off at the rear which meant cutting off the curved lip, it hasn't been a problem (not like the Scoot has reverse) and steers so much easier for the little guy.
These might help:)

Bullhead do you have anymore of these kits? I will be picking our first sno scoot on Monday and it will need new skis. I have a set of the mini C & A from his old Z120 so wuld you just sell the kit minus the skis?
Thanks,
Frank

Re: Plastic Ski's Installed??? Has anyone
I put a set of skins on from a 1990 SRV. mods required were drilling new back hole to align with skag mount and straightening the transition up front a bit with a sledge. fits ok. front is held off a bit with exposed bar.
