battery dies

i just bought a sno-scoot for my son and was told that if you leave the scoot for several days without starting it, it will kill the battery even if the battery is new, could this be a ground issue or something else. It will kick start easily but would like to fix the problem. Thanks Jeff

did you ever find out what the issue was? where to start ? I have the same issue with mine.
