painting scoot plastic

i have the plastic body covering from a sno scoot and would like to paint it-anybody tried it and how about getting some scratches out?

You would need to use a flexible paint. They make vinyl spray paint available at the auto store. This paint is designed to flex with out cracking.
buy a can and spray the inside of the cover. Let it cure per directions on can. flex the cover and see if it flakes off. If it doesn't spray the body.
if it does no harm no foul you painted the inside where it can't be seen.
Machinists Bore it deeper,Ream it bigger,And lap it to a fine finish

As far as I know the only guy that does the repainting of the scoot or sport plastic to a new high shine again is BULLHEADMOTO.
