sno sport bogging off the start

I have a 1990 sport that starts,idles and tops out fine but just to get moving and at a fast walking pace the sport bogs and sounds like it is missing but when you give it more throttle it works fine,any suggestions,thanks

Check the fuel pump. You should be able to take it apart, and there may be some dirt or something in it. You should be able to reuse the same gaskets.

if not the fuel pump it just sounds like it is running a little lean on the bottom end - turn your pilot screw out 1/4 turn at a time. if it is too lean this would run as you described - not enough fuel to get it going.

I finally figured it out the person who owned it before me put 3mm shims in the secondary clutch making the sport not shift all the way down,so you where starting off in too high of a ratio making it bog.
