carb setup

hey people called all the way to the factory to no avail looking 4 set up on carb throttle set up mixer screw choke idle screw float setting ???? kids are waiting 88 snoscoot w/electric start

The pilot screw on top of carb is to be out 7/8 turn, you may need to go to 1 1/2 out, each Scoot runs different. Float setting is set with carb upside down. From base of carb to top of float it should be .57 to .65". Choke idle setting?...I don't know what you are asking here. Idle screw on carb, adjust so sled will stay running at idle. The starter cable adjustment, lift up rubber cap on cable by carb, pull outer cable up, the freeplay should be .04-.08". Also you can chech it with carb off, sitting it on a bench, with cable attached to carb yet you can take a flashlight and watch the enrichner plunger go up and down when you move cable. You need to look into correct hole with flashlight.
