whats a 440 trail worth

some joker on flebay seems to think his 440 trailtwister is worth $3300. maybe he thinks its a liguid merc. that sled is worth $1000-$1200 tops. good luck to him. wait i think i see gold colored sparkplugs, well then maybe it is worth $3300.

my stepdad bought a 76 440 trail in mint cond for $ 950 all original cond. the guy bought it from a neighbor then decided he didnt want it anymore. the 440 are not that hard to find, and repo hoods and decals are fairly inexpensive. i just dont understand why some people think there sleds are worth gold, but who knows, maybe somebody who dosent know much about mercs may have that it was a good price.
