trailtwister problem

I have a 440 76 TT which has twin pipes on it.It wont come of idel unless i add some chock to get the rpm up then it runs fine any thought.

Make sure carbs are clean your running 35 pilot jets & 270 mains, e-clip should be in 4th slot from top. These are winter specs and will run rich in warm temps. You don't want to be running lean at low rpm's, this could lead to meltdown. Jeff

check the stator values of low-speed winding...yellow wire to engine-ground should be greater than 2600
(2.6K) ohms. Hi-speed winding is around 75-ohms (blue wire) Check cold & warm.
