I have a 76 Merc 440 T/T, engine is the 2AS style with type B prestolite electronic ignition.

Ran for 3 mins, turned it off, now no spark (similar thing happened last year).

Replaced the CDI and stator with new ones from Scott Hewelt, and even a different trigger coil, new coils and coil wires, even the regulator, but still no spark. Note: the headlight does glow when I try to start it.

Can anyone record and tell me while cranking the engine what wires from the stator (and perhaps the trigger coil) should have measureable voltage? The amount of voltage doesn't really matter as it varies from machine to machine and age. But it would really help me diagnose my problems further.

I have Scott's wiring diagram....but it only shows ohm meter readings, and I've exhausted that information. :)
