I keep blowing headlights on 76 TT 340!

Need some help.

I blew two headlights yesterday. Both high and low beam. The worked just fine when idiling, but after riding for a couple minutes, they would blow at some point. My tailight is working just fine.

Voltage Regulator Bad?? How would I test it?

The voltage regulator could be bad...but if you are trying to use automotive sealed beams on a snowmachine you will keep blowing them. The car lights won't take the pounding of a snowmachine. That is why the snow bulbs are about 4 times the price.
