Will the same 102c comet clutch with purple spring and A12 arms be a good choice for a 340 T/T. Also, would a set of twin pipes off of a 400 s/t improve the performance of the 340? or hurt it

Around 43g~45g is a good start for a 340 & COMET. Stay away from the 400 pipes...the T/T engine doesn't rev high enough to take advantage of the pipes, so you will lose mid-range in the change & never get the peak RPM you need & will narrow the powerband. If it is a MOD engine, then may work better, but need more RPM's & you won't get it with that engine.
