s/r 340 help!

i own a s/r 340 and i just rebuilt the carb and engine. it has brand new spark plugs but no spark. my coils are rusty counld this be my problem?

yes it definatly could be, but it could also be that when you pull it the plugs arent geting any electricity, try cleaning the contacts
