I have a 1944 army green mercury chainsaw. It is a KB6-AX serial number 26507 6 hp 36 inch bar. Last sunday dec 4 2005 my wife and I a ttempted to cut down the trunk of a 3 foot dia dead oak tree. the saw ran well until we fouled a plug about 1\3 of the way through probable saving our lives. also have a KB-1A outboard and an old wright saw. stillwater,oklahoma
