Headlight/Taillight Not Working

Post by YamaScoot »

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing my headlight and taillight to not work on my Sno Scoot? I've already replaced the coil/pulser and just replaced the rectifier and they still do not work. I've verified the bulbs are good and what's strange is the brake light works; just not the others. Any ideas?

More often than not it, on these old machines, it is a grounding issue. Use a tester and find a good ground on the engine then see if you have power at either the head light or tail light. If not, then keep going back until you can find power. Test the hi/lo dimmer also. The fact that you have brake lights is a good sign. Should be an easy fix with a good tester.
