The biggest problems I have seen with the Hurricanes is the wiring. The old braided harnesses like to fall apart and short out. The second biggest problem would be the engine. I have 2 used pistons from a 75 Hurricane II 644. Engine had about 600 miles on it. The piston from the PTO side is good. The MAg side piston lost the locating pin for one of the rings (I believe the second ring, I will have to look at the piston to be sure.) I was going to have a new pin put in at ...
