Sno Scoot carb parts---help

Hello, I need either a carb or a good float for a carb. I have a 89 sno scoot and while cleaning the carb one side of the floats hinge/pivot point broke off. any help or directions to help would be appreciated..

I believe the float is still available through your Yamaha Dealer.

they made it sound like getting any parts for the machine was going to require an act of God.
